Q. The sound on my computer and internet explorer works but all of a sudden today, the sound on Mozilla Firefox stopped working and I have no idea why. I went to control panel and checked Internet Options and everything seems to be okay. I have the latest Firefox btw. Can someone please help? None of these worked..

A. Windows Vista volume mixer: Open Firefox and visit a site that should play sound. Click the volume icon in the Windows task bar. Click Mixer. The Volume Mixer window will appear. Make sure the Firefox slider isn't at the bottom.
