Greg Dwyer and Bill Obenauf, aka Bill Michaels, are the radio personalities and website authors known as Dwyer and Michaels. On air together since the late 1980s, they write, host and produce a popular morning show in the U.S. Midwest currently running on WXLP-FM WXLP is a Quad Cities area commercial Classic Hits radio station, licensed to Moline, Illinois. The station is owned by Cumulus Media, with studios located in Davenport, Iowa in the Quad Cities The Quad Cities is a geographic region of the Mid-Mississippi Valley of the United States that includes several communities in the states of Iowa and Illinois. As of 2009, the population is 379,066 and consists of four counties: Scott County in Iowa and Henry, Mercer, and Rock Island counties in Illinois. Their show was syndicated for over a year on KRNA KRNA is a radio station licensed to Cumulus Licensing LLC, with studios in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a transmitter located west of Oxford, Iowa. The station's frequency is 106.5 MHz, and broadcasts at a power of 100 kW, with transmitter located in rural LeClaire in Scott County-FM became the subject of some controversy in early 2007 when Clear Channel sued Dwyer and Michaels and their news reader, Beth Davis, alleging that they had violated a non-compete clause in their contract.[3] The judge ruled in favor of the team, who had taken their show to Cedar Rapids, Iowa Cedar Rapids is the second largest city in the U.S. state of Iowa and is the county seat of Linn County. The city lies on both banks of the Cedar River, 20 miles (32 km) north of Iowa City and 100 miles (160 km) east of Des Moines, the largest city and state's capital. City Hall and the County Courthouse are located on Mays Island, on the Cedar before returning to the Quad Cities.[4]
