How to calculate the relative abundance of each isotope of chlorine?
Q. Chlorine exists as two isotopes, Cl-35 and Cl-36. How do you calculate the relative abundance of each isotope? No need to do the calculations, just an explanation would be great. Thanks!

What is the speed of the 30 ton car relative to the ground?
Q. A 30 ton rail car and a 70ton rail car, initially at rest, are connected together with a giant but massless compressed spring between them. When released, the 30ton car is pushed away at a speed of 4.6 m/s relative to the 70ton car. What is the speed of the 30ton car relative to the ground?

A. 30 x v1 = 70 x v2 and v1 + v2 = 4.6 v1 = ( 70/30) v2 = 2.33 v2 2.33 v2 + v2 = 4.6 v2 = 1.38 v1 = 4.6 - 1.38 = 3.22 m/s ans

How do I calculate the temperature if I know the dewpoint and relative humidity?
Q. I need a formula. I can do relative humidity from dewpoint and temperature, and dewpoint from relative humidity and temperature, but cannot figure out temperature from dewpoint and relative humidity.

A. The formula is complex and not really not easily done. I found it a little interesting that you want temperature from readings of humidity and dew point. I never have thought of that since it normally is temperature and either humidity or dew point that are the known values. There are psychrometric charts that are the easiest to use for that purpose. I use the book, Smithsonian Meteorological Tables as my reference on stuff like that. I use it nearly daily.
